Our core expertise.

Matt is a full-stack developer with over 20 years’ experience and he looks after the digital side of every project. Beyond websites, he builds complex bespoke systems, from CRMs and client portals to integrations that connect a business’s tools so they work together. He works across the stack in React, Next.js, Node.js, Prisma, PHP, HTML and CSS, on Google Cloud Platform, and his eye for detail runs from the server a site is hosted on through to its design, code, accessibility and user experience.

Matt pairs a logical mind with creativity. He’s a strong lateral thinker and our in-house problem solver: he’s usually the one who finds the way through, often with a simpler, smarter solution.

He also leads our media production: filming, editing and colour grading footage, and creating the soundtrack to go with it, from voiceover to original music.

Outside of work, Matt plays keyboards and guitar in two covers bands.

With over 12 years of commercial design experience, Babs heads up the visual side of our projects, from UX and UI design to branding and graphic design. Good design depends on understanding people, and her background in psychology means everything she creates starts there: from what makes people tick and how to design for the behaviour you want. The result is websites that are easier and more enjoyable to use, and campaigns that get people to act.

She also advises businesses on applied behavioural science and customer experience, using it to drive positive outcomes for customers, employees and businesses alike.

Alongside more than a decade of commercial design experience, she holds an MSc in Consumer Psychology (Distinction) and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

Outside work, she’s a keen amateur artist and regularly takes classes to develop her drawing and painting.
