What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are
Dzined Ltd (trading as dzined) is a design studio registered in England and Wales, company number 05741298, VAT number GB 878 049 577, at The Townhouse, Fore Street, Hertford, SG14.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For anything in this policy, contact studio@dzined.com.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company name if you give one, and whatever you write in your message. We only ask for what we need to reply properly.
When you browse
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, which exist for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Who else sees it
We don’t sell personal data, ever. We share it only with providers that help us operate:
- Our hosting provider, serves the site and keeps server logs.
- Our email provider, carries correspondence with you.
- Apple, when the map on our contact page loads, Apple receives the request in order to serve map tiles. See Apple’s own privacy policy for how they handle it.
- Our accountants, for invoicing and statutory records.
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for 7 years after the last transaction, because HMRC requires it. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then rotated.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete it, where we have no obligation to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- transfer it to another provider
Email studio@dzined.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
